Our stay was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The facility itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but what truly made this a 5-star experience was the incredible host (Bianca). She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, accommodated every need with professionalism and kindness, and made the entire stay feel personal and memorable. Communication was excellent, recommendations were thoughtful, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It’s rare to come across hospitality this genuine. Because of the Bianca, we’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to others. Thank you for making our stay such an unforgettable experience!

I’ve been a resident for almost 4 years and have loved living at The Block. I’ve lived in two different units within the building and both have been great places to live! I rarely have issues with any appliances, air conditioning, or plumbing. Even if there is an issue, work orders are very easy and the maintenance team is very responsive and reliable. I couldn’t recommend this spot enough for young professionals looking to live downtown. It’s in a great location and has an incredible staff! Bianca, Jose, and the rest of the staff go above and beyond for everyone staying at The Block. Their team is super responsive and friendly, which made my move in and the last several years so much easier and enjoyable living downtown. They’ve made me feel at home ever since I’ve moved in, and I highly recommend The Block if you’re looking to live downtown Indy.

The Block is one of the best places you could stay in indianapolis The location is convenient, close to shopping, dining, entertainment, and major routes. The property is clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly, professional, and responsive. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and management communicates well with residents. Overall, I highly recommend The Block Apartments for its great location and excellent staff. ✨

When I was there a few months ago they had a beyond tattered flag hanging over Market Street, it was a disgrace to the building & quite frankly our country. It’s years (if not decades) past needing to be retired & the owners of this building should be ashamed of themselves! 👎

I loved this location and it's historical vibe. It's very cool that they made an apartment complex out of an abandoned 8-story mega-mall built in the 50s. Nostalgically, they took the liberty of using some of the original mall's decor and displaying antique mechanics. For example, they had the side of the ancient out-of-service escalator cut open so that you can see the inner-workings. Honestly, now that I think about it, I don't remember the last time I used an escalator inside of a building. We were renting an Airbnb. The worst part about this location was that the person who was renting the Airbnb was using deceptive practices, claiming that we removed things from the Airbnb that we did not. This left a bad taste in our mouth and for Indiana as a whole. I would not want to sign a lease at this location knowing that there are people renting out Airbnbs that are as deceptive such as the lady we worked with, Tiffany. She seems very nice but then when you leave that all changes. She told the close friend of mine who rented the place out to "look out for me" and that I gave her "bad vibes" after making the false accusation of stealing a Roku. If you let your leasers sublet, I think it's important to observe the impression your leasers are leaving on tourists. Especially with someone like Tiffany who I directly heard her state "only accepts 5-star guests", it seems only to ruin their ratings with her false claims to boost her profits, while having to do minimal maintenance on her units. We kept that place tidy, did her linen laundry and avoided damage. Sadly, Tiffany is not doing her a part to positively represent The Block or Indiana as a whole, doing her part to keep the property values low, which appear to be 300% lower than where I'm from, Richmond, Virginia. I'd recommend the block review the leases on her units and look for breaches of contact, immediately.
