Picked this apartment because it has EV charging. When I first moved in 9 months ago, only 2 out of the 4 chargers were working. I informed management, but they never fixed them. Now only 1 out of the 4 EV chargers works… and the rate is almost as high as a supercharger.

Excellent apartment complex building! I have been living here for 9 months and just love it. The offices and maintenance team have exceeded my expectations. Maintenance workorders are resolved between 24 to 48 hrs of opening the request!

Penrose on Mass hides their pricing information on their website to force you to submit your information to generate a lead for them. This isn't egregious and I was aware that they were employing this scheme when I completed my lead form. What I wasn't aware of and really didn't appreciate after submitting my information was how they distributed my lead to seemingly every single member of their sales team. I was bombarded by texts and emails from several Penrose on Mass leasing agents. They were disorganized, uncoordinated, and didn't seem to be referencing any notes that one another took while badgering me, if any notes were taken at all. After I explained to multiple agents that I was no longer interested in Penrose, I continued to receive emails and texts from numerous leasing agents connected to Penrose. If an organization cannot handle distributing a lead or taking notes in a CRM can you trust them to be responsive if your unit has an actual issue? Can you trust them to manage contractors and handymen if your apartment has a substantive problem? I couldn't and I wouldn't recommend these jokers solely based on the chaotic and messy outreach efforts they made. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing at Penrose on Mass.

Great apartment complex. Amazing office staff!!! Lived here for 3 years and wish I was staying longer. A shoutout to the Maintenence team at Penrose, specifically Charles. He is fast, thoughtful, respectful, and goes above and beyond when your place needs any maintenance work done.

Our daughter recently accepted a new position in Indianapolis and needed to secure an apartment on short notice. We went with Penrose after meeting with Madalyn. As others note- rent is very reasonable, maintenance and property management staff are personable and responsive. And, the location is outstanding. Great restaurants, grocer, hardware and more within 7-10 walking distance. Very well equipped fitness center, great community amenities and excellent parking. Highly recommend JC Hart and Penrose on Mass Ave.
