Location wise, great place to live. Apartment and amenity wise, super clean conditions and well kept. But the management is horrid. #1 No one is ever at the main desk during working hours. Renting a shovel for snow, renting a cart for heavy items, going to the desk to get a new pass or get some keys fixed- a lot of the times I've had to go to the office multiple times a day to find them to get what I need. Asked to have my move out inspection one day. Never get a reply to my email. They scheduled my move out inspection, and they never show up. You call the front desk, there's never anyone to pick up. You leave a message, 8/10 times you will not hear back. #2 You pay a ridiculous amount of money for surface parking here for 0 reason. I had my car broken into, car and parking pass stolen from the Circa parking lot. I understand I shouldn't be too harsh on the management because they're just people that work there, but why do I need to sit there and make a fuss for management to take me seriously and provide me with some help? A temporary parking pass was begrudgingly provided to me; and that was after I got another car. So my father had to pay to park somewhere else to help me figure out my lack of transportation. Couldn't park at Circa because they do not have a visitor lot. They only have "future resident spots" reserved for management employees that no resident can park in after hours. Plus if you don't have a pass you get towed. And I get they weren't trying to get sued, but I really did not appreciate having to sit there and listen to them insinuate I had left my car open. And then a few days later, get a Circa-wide message reminding everyone to lock their cars. There was broken glass where my car had been, and it being broke into was confirmed later. Reasons said, do not do business with Circa. I swear they make your life so much more difficult for no reason even though you pay them so much.

Really like this apartment 9 months out of the year and the staff is great…if you live with a roommate don’t expect to be able to take showers within an hour of each other in the winter there’s no hot water. I was told by maintenance “that’s just how it is in the winter” after putting in 5 service requests. I’ve taken NUMEROUS cold showers including today…it’s -5°

I've lived at Circa for almost 2 years and it's been a great experience all around. The staff is very responsive to the needs of all tenants and the facilities are exceptionally clean and convenient. My 1 bdrm apartment is modern with tall ceilings and exposed ducts. It's style matches the artistic and colorful nature of Mass Ave! It's close to so many good restaurants and is safe/quiet. My favorite part of living here is listening to the midnight train passing through downtown on a cool summer evening. If you are looking for a place to live that is both high quality & conveniently located, Circa is the way to go.

This had to be one of the weirdest experiences I’ve had in an apartment and I’m 30 years old. This person doesn’t work there anymore but when the temperatures were in the negatives, my heat broke and they gave me a heater. When the maintenance man comes to look at the heat, he says “if you two break this, you’ll be charged” ??? Ok guess I’ll die! Then when I was moving out, their little dumpster was completely full, so I just decided to leave my trash in my room…nicely bagged, nothing gross… and they charged me. Lol. DONT LIVE HERE. The location is amazing, but it’s not worth the stress. If anyone in corporate is reading this take this as a sign to pay your employees more and value them, then there wouldn’t be as much maintenance turnover. Editing to say soo many of these reviews have to be fake. 🤣 look at the bad ones , they all say the same thing. Then there’s so many amazing reviews compared to the drastic ones?

I’m redacting my 5 star review unfortunately as this property significantly has gone down hill in the last year. And I’m strictly only focusing on issues the last year. I cannot With good conscience allow others to rent here without seeing what it truly is. Management consistently lies- the fireplace has been broken since January first, was told in writing there was a new one order and would be replaced by April or May. This has still not been fixed and been confirmed a lie by the corporate director of maintenance. The pool never opens on time- don’t even try. Maintenance people turn quicker than a hotel reservation so constantly new people coming in and out. Whoever was hired to paint and painted exterior doors, unlawfully entered everyone’s units, taped the doors open to every unit on my floor, and without notice i cane Home and could see into everyone’s home. When telling the office it was said that “that never happened” yet i have Pictures of it. The roof in the garage fell two weeks ago- why wasn’t that noticed and cleaned up by someone… anyone…. The back door which has been a safety issue for awhile as well is still broken- which lead to theft of multiple people’s bikes. The dog park is probably the worst of it all. It’s a safety issue to have an area where dogs can jump in and out. My dog is not the only one that can jump it. We have asked for over a year to fix this, promises made, lies told. We were told last year that this was being taken care of and was at corporate for approval- director of maintenance can confirm this was a lie as well. He was unaware. Is dog owners have asked to fix it ourself but doesn’t let us for aesthetic purposes. Finally, the water feature is absolutely a sanitary hazard. Being promised it would be fixed and addressed immediately, a year later our little malaria friends are getting ready to sprout their wings. I do fear of retaliation, but the several things above not even addressing others concerns will all be visible to new expectant tenants. They were more concerned with painting inside and outside than addressing safety concerns around the property. Btw really walk and observe the property to see how mismatched and lack of care is around here. I will not speak to anyone in that office in regards to this post- it’s false promises, flat out lies, and overall an entire waste of my time. I have Called corporate and emailed without response several times. This company cares about the bottom dollar and to ensure they get their bonuses from occupancy percentages. #liveatcirca
