I have lived here for a year and a half, and although the staff is nice and responsive, nothing ever gets fixed. The elevators have been broken, there's a leak in my bathroom ceiling that they "fixed" by painting over, the garbage disposal breaks once a month, the AC/heat has broken several times, and so much more.

The building is unsanitary and Management is horrible. Cockroaches, mold, and rodents. They will enter your unit without notice or your permission. If you move here, expect to document everything, because they will continuously lie. You will have to fight tooth and nail to get Management to address the various health hazards. When I moved into my unit that had a massive cockroach infestation, I was told by email from Gabriela, that it’s because I moved in “early”. I moved in on the date per the final lease agreement. I had mold on my ceiling. Rather than clean it as required, they PAINTED over it. And even this was after several requests for them to do something. Gabriela acknowledged it was mildew, but not mold (makes no sense), While painting they didn’t take the proper steps to care for my furniture and got paint all over my couch. Even after I pointed this out, I was initially told by email, that they considered my issue resolved and weren’t going to do anything else. My car has had two rodent infestations now because the parking lot is a haven for rodents. You would think they would take steps to address the issue after they were made aware of the first time, but they did absolutely nothing causing further damage to my car. Expect them to enter your unit without notice or your permission in advance for non-emergencies. They will attempt to justify this by saying you submitted a work order ticket even if you indicated on the ticket that they don’t have permission to enter when you’re not home. A tenant I know told me that his door was pushed open by Management, while he was standing behind it, after Management was angry that he took them to court after he had a cockroach infestation (the tenant won). Not only does this give you an idea of how pervasive these health hazards are, but it demonstrates the general attitude of Management. Also, a tenant took them to court after they got rid of a handicap parking spot, so that Management could park there. After experiencing Management lie time and time again, I will no longer communicate with them in person. I’ve even asked for their permission to record conversations because, while you can’t expect much from Management, you can certainly expect them to lie. If anyone has any doubt about my own personal experience, just google UIP Management. An ANC attempted to have their license revoked because of how unsafe the housing conditions are. If you’re considering moving here, please email me. I can share with you all that I have experienced and/or witnessed. The positive reviews are for the man at the front desk, he’s the only good thing about living here.

I’ve lived at the Windsor House for 3 years and have had an amazing experience! The highlights of the building include the central location, rooftop pool, nice apartment spaces, and utilities included. However, what really sets the Windsor House apart is the staff - the management/leasing staff are responsive, professional, and go above and beyond to make living here a good experience. The maintenance team is quick and efficient whenever there’s an issue. The concierge staff are always welcoming and helpful - special shout out to Quentin who is beyond friendly and knows all residents, and always makes my day when I walk through or pick up a package!

I have lived at the Windsor House for over 10 years. The entire staff in this building is amazing. They are as good as the many of the reviewers have stated. There is a group of us long term tenants that they have really taken care of so many ways. In a city like DC it’s rare to have such a great feeling of community. And then there’s Q. This building is blessed to have him looking after everyone and everything here. He has such grace and kindness. He is irreplaceable. My warmest regards to everyone!

We have spent 5 years in this apartment building and I has been some of the best years of my life the management company is absolutely amazing they make sure stuff gets done in a timely manner it’s always clean big shout out to Gabriella and Patrick in the leasing office they make it fun to live here by putting on events and fun things for the complex and also I can’t forget about the best doorman in the world Quinton he’s so kind to everyone
