I've lived at 455 Eye for about 3 years, and overall it's an amazing place to live! Firstly, the leasing managers are great. Special shoutout to Chris, who helped me immensely during my move-in process, and has always been available to answer any questions. The building is also quiet, safe, and clean. They have a 24/7 front desk who handle packages, and I’ve never experienced any issues related to lost deliveries. Ms. Irvette, Z, and Ms. Kim are all fantastic, and so much fun to talk to! The only issue I’ve experienced living here has been that there have been a few water line repairs, which has led to some temporary water disruptions (usually about a day). However, the leasing managers send out reminders well in advance of the repairs, and are communicative about updates. The staff also goes out of their way to help residents during those times. The maintenance team here is also top-notch. Any time I’ve reported an issue, they have arrived within 24 hours and resolved it quickly. I’ve also never experienced any pest issues. Overall, this has been a great experience, and I would highly recommend it!

I am coming up on a year of living at 455 Eye and have loved my time here! I find the location to be perfect. MVT is a smaller neighborhood, so there are many events to be involved in which foster a great community feel. The farmer's market right out front on the weekends is just the best, too. The staff here are also so responsive and personable!! Breanna in the housing office is so dependable and reliable and Z at the front desk is always greeting everyone with a smile - they're the best!

I lived here and made the bad decision of moving to Lydian thinking it would be a better experience. Now that I left, I can appreciate the amazing management tram of 455 I st, Chris was always amenable, understanding and empathetic. I felt at home when I got in, the place was extremely clean and the location was unbeatable. I would come back in the first opportunity.

The on-site team has been great. Everything was pretty good. The resident portal was lacking in several ways…in my case-reserving parking. Just navigating to the correct menu was not intuitive. But now they changed Service Requests. They are now routed through a phone number via voice or text message. I cannot check notes on my service requests. Concierge team cannot view notes on my service requests. It is like sending something over a fence and waiting for a response. What was a somewhat wanting UI / UX is now a wholly inadequate UI / UX. But the on-site team is great and I really like them.

Well where to start - I moved to DC in 2023 and I called 455 I home until recently, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Glad to have started my DC experience at such a great place! Pros: - Chris Hamilton, the leasing office agent, is by far the most attentive and caring leasing person I have had the pleasure of knowing. He truly cares about you and your resident experience, going above and beyond. Safe to say he is second to none! - I had a studio on the 10th floor. I had practically zero maintenance issues, minus occasional wear and tear. When I did, the maintenance team was prompt and thorough, performing quality work. This is always my prime concern at places and it was definitely not an issue here. - The neighborhood is in a peak location. While it is a bit corporate, 455 I itself has a community feel, and the small farmers market every Saturday morning outside the doorstep was my favorite. There are Many restaurant and outing options and it is very short walk to the metro and any bus stops. Centrally located. - neighbors are all really friendly! Mostly younger and ethnically diverse demographic - Building amenities are solid. Small gym but you can do what you need there. Great hosting space, and nice rooftop. -concierge is 24/7 and super friendly! Always fun to chat with. - the tech at the building makes entering the building easy, seamless, and secure. Cons: - My personal unit didn’t have the best natural lighting, but nothing that can’t be fixed with interior lighting. - Price: a bit on the pricier end, but the premium is worth it. All in all, I really recommend 455 I as a great option. 10/10!!
