If you read any of the bad reviews and thought maybe I should just give it a chance it’s not that bad, DONT. The management will answer your phone any time you call right up until you sign your lease then they are impossible to get ahold of. If you think that the parking won’t be a problem I’ll just park on the street, you are wrong. THEY DONT HAVE ANY PARKING. I was told before renting that “visitor parking” was available and that you could buy a day pass and then I went a month after to buy one and they said that, that was not available and was never a thing. I got 2 parking tickets living here so expect that.There is always poop all over the property that people leave and maintenance does not pick up often. I stepped on poop at least three times. ➡️THE WORST PART ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS MY MOVE OUT. I moved out in November 28th, 2025 and gave my keys to someone in the office and three weeks later the community manager asked if I was still going to move out? Obviously I already moved out way before that convo and the she called back EVENTUALLY and said there was miscommunication and that the leasing agent never let them know AND THEN STILL TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF DECEMBER. I had to sit on the phone for almost an hour explaining why I shouldn’t be charged that along with all these are charges that were so uncalled for. They were so misleading about everything when moving in.➡️ Also while living here I witnessed the neighbor right in front of me get there door broken into by the cops because he wasn’t coming out and they had a warrant. Not a great neighborhood. And MAKE SURE TO SEE THE ACTUAL UNIT YOU ARE MOVING INTO because the one they showed on photos and videos was completely different then what I got. The living room felt like 2 inches. Do not move here!

I’ve been here since maven has opened. It’s been a pleasure living here. Staff and management are great. I’ve never had any issues. My biggest thing are the community members lack of accountability and sense of responsibility that could easily be improved. There’s dog poop everywhere you walk, you have to play hop potato every where you walk. Pick up after you dog. If the management could enforce maybe a fine or some sort for accountability that would be great. Another thing are residents constantly smoking weed and having your apartment smell like weed. The last thing is the water heater in the unit constantly have problems but the maintenance crew are fast to responses. Overall. I would recommend this place but there are things lacking that’s causing this place not to be a 5/5. Please fix the issues Maven.

Below is my first posting when I first stepped into this awesome place. It is now March 17, 2026 and I can say that it is a peaceful environment, clean, and maintenance and staff and management are so nice and professional. The online residents app is convenient. If you have concerns or need maintenance; your message is promptly taken care of. I like that there is a mail room to send big or small packages, a nice gym area, (so convenien), a parking garage or visitors parking (worth paying for) quiet room to study in front office, close to freeway, Target near by, people are friendly here and dog friendly, the apartment is spacious and beautiful, even my grand-baby loves visiting me at my place (spacious for her to run around or take walk’s outside), Downtown Sacramento is close (good walk to and from), there’s a park near by (enjoy the outdoors) Come check out Maven on Broadway!! It’s worth it! Thank you Christopher, Maintenance, Staff Upon arriving a tour and schedule appointment, I experienced a warm welcome. The staff are very professional and acknowledge any questions or concerns about application, or community. During my tour, I noticed the cleanliness and amenities are well kept. The wait and process takes time but worth it. So I am now a tenant and love that it’s quiet and so far no issues with other residents. I appreciate Management and Staff to give me the opportunity to experience this next chapter. Thank you’re

Living at Maven on Broadway has truly been a wonderful experience — so much so that we decided to renew our lease without hesitation! From day one, the staff has been incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure residents feel at home.The office team is warm and attentive, always quick to respond to questions or help with anything we need. Even the maintenance staff deserves special mention — they’re prompt, kind, and always on top of any issue, big or small. It’s rare to find a place where every team member genuinely cares, but the Maven delivers that and more.The community is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere feels safe and welcoming. We couldn’t be happier to call this place home. Highly recommend living here!

I'm extremely frustrated with this complex. The other reviews say it all, lack of security, management that does nothing to remedy the issues, and being charged to park with no guest parking is just the tip. It comes across as a nice place but don't be fooled. The pool is a big selling point but is useless unless you're a kid from the area who doesn't live here, then it's great! It's the nicest PUBLIC POOL around! I'm tired of complaining to the office and getting a fluff response and no remedy to the problem, just asked to “be patient” (when they are well aware that this has been an issue since it opened). It's very simple, tenants pay a certain amount of money in exchange for the peaceful use of certain amenities, but 29th Street Communities is not holding up their part of the deal but still expects tenants to pay as if they are. I would attach videos of the chaos if I could, photos don't do the chaos justice. If anyone asked me about living here, I wouldn't recommend it. If they won't listen to the tenants, hopefully, potential residents will. 4/17 Update: Thanks to there being NO SECURITY on the property my brand new bike was stolen from an “amenity” bike enclosure that requires 2 codes to get into, in an area that has cameras for supposed more “security” and as usual, 29th Street properties management team takes absolutely no responsibility for it. Do yourself a favor and DONT be fooled into moving here unless you have an immediate move out backup plan!
