I don’t even know where to start. Mercedes and Phil are literally so awesome. I was there 3 years and I really wish Mercedes could have been there the whole time but the last few months with her there has been AMAZINNNG. Fil is the maintenance man and he’s sooo helpful with literally any and everything. I’m currently moving to be closer with family but if I could take them with me I would. They’re beyond helpful and understanding. Despite the issue with the homeless there being no security on the property and the door being left the door open often those were literally my only complaints .I loved my apartment and my neighbor. I’m so sad to be leaving but I wish everyone there well thank you so much for everything. I pray you guys stay blessed. & Happy Holidays to you BOTH 🫶🏾

Been here since 2023, it's great but not the best. There's a consistent of homeless people entering the building at nights And sleeping outside of the facility. The garbage is always overflowing. The elevator is slow or malfunctions And the building has never had a permanent apartment manager. The neighborhood is no place for kids. No close parks. Homeless people has deducted but they are still around. The maintenance team does their best. Good job to them 👍🏽. Close Walking distance to Fulton district.

The best apts I've ever had I love it here the definition on peace o' mind haha for real. The manager Mercedes is the nicest and most chill person I've ever met especially the janitor Filliberto. If anyone's looking for an affordable place to stay w/ peace o' mind you won't regret living at The Monarch @ Chinatown that's for sure ;). P.s. Mercedes is here Mon-Fri 8:00Am-5:00 come get a unit while there's H O T!

I've lived here for maybe 3yrs. now and enjoy my space and time here. We've had multiple managers in that time frame, but I have to say that Mercedes Bellinger has been the best so far. She actually came and introduced herself personally as the new manager and to please let her know if I have any problems or concerns. Very helpful keep up the good work.

Fili, our janitor does an amazing job and puts in great effort to keep our home clean and sanitary (easier said than done with some of the rowdier residents here). He is friendly and easy to speak with. Our manager is great and helpful and very resourceful.
