Alice Hong 4 months agoI first moved in when it was managed by Greystar and I loved the management then! Ever since they changed management though, I’ve had so many complaints. It’s to the point where my friends were interested in moving here and I convinced them not to. I’m definitely going to move after my current lease. Firstly there are generic things like the fire alarms going off frequently, water gets shut off, etc. They also keep changing policies - we now have a new parking system that makes it harder for guests to park and for tenants to pay for the system. We once had a package (worth $200+) stolen from the mail room before and management was no help with the process of resolving the issue. They once did a maintenance check on apartment units where they enter the unit even if no one is home. No one was home at the time they came so they came in to do the check but didn’t lock the door after leaving our unit. Imagine our shock when we came home to an unlocked unit. When we address our issues to management, they kept ignoring us/telling us they’ll be in touch and they never get back to us regardless of multiple calls/emails/visits to the leasing office. I highly recommend searching elsewhere until management is able to be more on top of their duties!
Shawn Patrick 6 months agoThe leasing office team is not good at getting back to residents. I have emailed multiple times about trash overflowing and noise complaints and never receive a response. When I first moved here, Graystar was the owner, but since MG properties has taken over they have had significant staff turn over and the new staff don’t take time to get to know the residents or respond to concerns. They also continue to change policies (eg parking, package room), but the policies don’t seem to help and I don’t think they seek resident input. The apartments themselves and the cleaning and maintenance teams are great, but I don’t find the leasing office or management teams welcoming or helpful.
Jose Soto 2 weeks agoQuiet place to live and enjoyable. My issue is the support you get when you contact the front desk. Your first contact is an AI assistant that makes you believe you’re being helped by escalating every issue no matter how big or small but it’s only buying time and you won’t get a response till 2-3 days later. When you move out prepare to be charged for everything no matter how clean you leave the apartment. Expect to pay for a housekeeping fee and paint fee since they paint the entire apartment and bill you for it. If you try and fight it they ignore your email and respond by threatening to send your bill to collections within 30 days. The townhomes in the community are part of your building but don't expect to use the streets as parking because you will be towed since it’s for them and them alone.
Greg Nunez 2 months agoCitron Apartments has been a great place to live, and the staff is a big reason why. Housekeeping keeps the building clean, maintenance responds quickly and professionally, and the leasing office — especially the manager — always treats residents with respect and care. As a resident who isn’t always comfortable with apps or technology, I really appreciate how patient and understanding the staff is. They always offer alternatives, explain things clearly, and help without making you feel like a burden. What stands out most is how they treat residents like family. Even if you’re stopping by with routine community concerns — parking, pets, or building updates — they’re always patient and willing to explain how things work. Even the parking rules and occasional notices, which some might see as inconvenient, are really about fairness and keeping the community comfortable for everyone. The staff works hard to keep things running smoothly, and it shows. Citron has created a supportive, respectful, and welcoming community, and the staff deserves a lot of credit for that.
THUNDER C89 9 months agoAbsolutely thrilled with the experience here! The service is top-notch—every interaction has been smooth, respectful, and genuinely helpful. The staff is professional, especially the community manager Danielle who goes above and beyond to make residents feel valued. The property itself is stunning, offering true luxury living with thoughtful design and amenities. I've noticed such a positive change since moving in—it's more than just a place to live, it's a community that feels like home. Highly recommend!
