Google Reviews
Shaina Jackson a month agoUPDATE 5/20/26: Since posting our original review, we were finally able to reconnect with the team at the 101 Center regarding the outstanding balance owed to our company for completed security services. During those discussions, we were informed that they wanted us to sign an agreement requiring us to delete our Google review before they would process payment. Considering this balance has remained unpaid for over a year, you can understand why we were hesitant to remove the review without confirmation that payment had actually been issued. After expressing those concerns to their accounting team, communication completely stopped again. Our calls and emails have gone unanswered. At the end of the day, a legally binding contract was signed, services were fully completed, and payment is still outstanding over a year later. It is unfortunate and disappointing that a company that expects residents to pay rent on time — with penalties for late payments — has not shown the same urgency or professionalism when paying vendors for completed work. We are still hopeful this matter will be resolved professionally, but as of today, the balance remains unpaid and communication has ceased. We previously provided security services for this company and unfortunately had a very negative experience. As of today, there is still an outstanding balance of over $6,000 that remains unpaid for services that were completed under our agreement. We have been attempting to contact them since April 2025 regarding the overdue invoices and have received little to no response. The last person we were in contact with was Laura Bennett, who stated she would provide us with an update regarding payment. Since that conversation, we have not received any follow-up or resolution regarding the outstanding balance. Professional relationships rely on communication, accountability, and honoring financial obligations. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience in this situation. If you are a vendor considering doing business with this company, I strongly recommend thinking carefully before moving forward. In our experience, they have not prioritized paying their vendors or responding to billing matters in a professional and timely manner. We hope this review encourages them to address the outstanding balance and improve how they handle vendor relationships in the future.
Caleb Yee 10 months agoI'm a working professional and do IT work for a nearby school so I value good communication and getting things done in a timely manner. I hear the concerns of the other reviewers and I can't speak for everyone's experience. I can only speak for my own experience. The strengths of this place is the location and the manager and employees I have worked with. I have had an excellent experience working with the leasing agent Hayden. He has been responsive and answered all of our initial questions. And He even stayed late several hours after work hours ended to help us finish our lease! The manager Clayton has also been a blessing to work with. When we had some initial issues on our move in day, Clayton quickly addressed our concerns. He made a phone call and it was addressed! And within five minutes we had someone fixing up our room. He has been a great help and we have enjoyed working with him! I also wanted to give a shout out to the maintenance team. Pretty quickly we noticed some lights that were not working and a door that was sticking and other miscellaneous fixes. But within 1-2 days, each of my tickets have been addressed promptly. It does sound like long repair response times have been a problem in the past, but in my experience all of my maintenance issues have been handled very quickly! It sounds like the new maintenance team is doing their best to respond quickly. Thank you to everyone for making this place feel like a new home and for responding to my emails and tickets.
Ampala Akil Reddy 6 months agoWorst management experience. Every month there are unexplained charges added to my account, including late fees that I am not responsible for. I’ve had to visit the office 5–6 times a month just to get basic clarification and corrections. Calls and emails rarely receive proper responses, and issues are not addressed after repeated follow-ups. Residents should not have to constantly chase management to fix billing errors or pay incorrect balances. They wont even fix the error . Extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. I highly not recommend this for anyone who is looking to take the lease .Better Avoid this place .
Hinal Kuvadiya 4 months agoExtremely disappointing experience with 101 Center. The staff are not at all helpful and seem confused about their own process, experimenting in ways that appear designed to collect more money. They even intentionally avoided my calls and the staff openly admitted it, being not at all regretful about it! Lucas tried to assist, but Clayton's (including the now New manager: Mackenzie who put a month later date for my move out on papers just to add additional charges on my account) mismanagement makes it impossible for anyone to get proper service. I left frustrated and feel this place is unprofessional from top to bottom unless you don't need any services that require interacting with the management. Any defensive reply will not change the reality of my experience. A strong advice would be to avoid this place.
BigBossD 2015 a year agoNot worth the current rent rate. While the apartment looks modern, professional and clean it lacks the last two qualities. Good luck getting on the phone with the staff, ever. In the 88 times I've called I've spoken to someone 3 times. When you move in your apartment will not be clean, the public areas are not clean, the pool is not clean. I took over a lease with an already locked in monthly rent and they tried to make me sign a new lease for $60 more a month. THERE IS NO AFTER HOURS MAINTENANCE NUMBER, MAINTENANCE ORDERS DO NOT GET FIXED. They have nice facilities but the apartment complex looks like it was built 5 years ago and taken over by people who don't care
