I recommend this apartment because of many reasons. First of all, for 2 days in a row, I felt there was a gas smell in my apartment. I called yesterday and Marissa answered the phone and I told her what was going on. Within 3 minutes, the maintenance employee, Quam, checked everywhere and everything to ensure that everything was good and we are safe. It ended up being that the smell was coming from the heater and it just had a strong odor, but nothing serious and it wasn't actually gasoline. My family and I appreciate both of them for what they did yesterday and for the fast response. Also, everyone working in the office has done a great job since we moved here. Plus, it's safe, nice, and a clean complex. Thank you everyone for your service!!!

My tour went well. The only reason I wouldn’t wanna live here because of how small the bedroom is in the one bedroom versus being in the two bedroom.

Trifecta for luxury apartment pricing with car breakins, no security, and poor management. If you have choices, choose elsewhere. Meeting Miranda is a waste of time, money, and breathe. Learn from my mistake and live somewhere better

-24/7 gym was my favorite part, and location. -Wifi: After months of back-and-forth, we found out our unit's ethernet ports were wired incorrectly! Also, wifi doesn't reach the opposite end of the apartment so we had to buy a $50 wifi extender. Heard same complaints from neighbors. -Beeps: There's a sensitive smoke detector RIGHT next to the kitchen. We weren't allowed to take the batteries out. It became a "yup that's not an actual fire" situation when we heard other people's beeps go off (more than once a week). I normally love cooking and baking but this detector killed it for me. -Gas: There were many times we just had a gas smell happening. Sometimes it was another unit left their stove on, other times it was a "oh nothing seems wrong so let's air out your apartment" -- not their fault, but I've never had this problem elsewhere?? -Noise: We had a really difficult time with consistent late-night noise (not just people living and moving around, but a soundbar from a loud TV and bass) that we could hear from a neighbor. We were told to call the 24/7 maintenance line each time we heard the noise and have them come to our apartment to confirm the noise. So at 3am I'd often have to wake up my husband, get dressed, turn on our lights, and wait. If it wasn’t Shawn coming, we waited up to 30+ minutes with no contact after being told they’d be here in 15, and by then we were exhausted. My less noise-sensitive husband also had trouble sleeping. The neighbor was breaking the lease by having a soundbar that caused a disturbance but we were told that it's "up to management." At one point, they offered to move us to a different unit, which would’ve cost us time off of work, needing to change our IDs, moving all our things again, which we couldn't afford. College dorms literally have better processes for handling disputes. I had to push for mediation for weeks, and during mediation I offered putting us in a group chat or email chain so we could communicate with management involved instead of calling the maintenance line. Our neighbor denied this (which is fine) and we ended up going into our units to test the noise levels. We decided "well let's try to just keep it at this acceptable level! Otherwise, call the maintenance line!" So back to square one! At one point, the manager said that she can hear their neighbors talking through her wall… So... if you can hear your neighbors talking through the wall at a normal volume, don't you get how I can't sleep with someone blasting a movie at 3am? Also why are we acting like that's okay or normal in an apartment complex, or that that's something helpful to say right now? She also said something like "we've only been able to confirm the noise twice" okay so you've confirmed the noise, also that's because many times we've called the maintenance line and nobody showed up or took 40 minutes to get there... This situation was exhausting and tiring to deal with for everyone and probably drove our neighbor to move. I'm pretty sure everyone at the office hated us by then, I'd hate me too, I felt like I was crazy. Fix your process. -Staffwise, Adam was amazing. We moved on very short notice and he was so helpful. Maria is also so friendly!! Isaac was really helpful with our move out process. Shawn with maintenance was so so diligent, we literally crossed our fingers that Shawn would be on-call whenever we called. Maura, the other person on call, once told me that she never gets time off or any sleep because of people complaining about things and I felt horrible. Not her fault, really, but definitely a sign that again, the system has to change. I told the property manager, Miranda, that I felt bad calling the maintenance line for a noise complaint, and she said, that's their job. Maybe it shouldn't be after we've been going in circles for months, or maybe we should have a better system here. It isn't fair for residents or some of the staff who can't do anything about the situation.
