Bambi is amazing. She is accommodating, understanding, and so personable. I was able to move in within two weeks of contacting her for an apartment. It s was freshly painted and so clean when I was able to move in. The Lux Off Riverwalk had become my new little place of peace. So thankful for her ability to communicate and accommodate! Bambi is so good at what she does.

My experience with Lux on Riverwalk was mixed. The property is safe, and maintenance requests were handled reasonably well. However, several commitments made before I signed the lease were never fulfilled. The manager, Bambi, told me a vented microwave would be installed before move‑in, but it never happened during the seven months I lived there. She also assured me that if I needed to leave Wichita for job‑related reasons, I would not be charged extra—another promise that was not honored. Even though I had a six‑month lease, the system began pressuring me to renew two months early, warning that rent would increase by $100–$200 per month if I didn’t. To avoid that increase, I was asked to sign an agreement requiring a 30‑day notice before moving out, which effectively forces tenants to pay an additional month of rent even after vacating. I notified her by email and text on 2/9/2026 that I needed to move out for job reasons, and I returned my mailbox key in person on 2/16/2026. Despite this, she insisted I still had to pay through 3/9/2026 and even charged me the full March rent of $799 without providing any explanation. Communication after move‑in became very inconsistent—messages were often ignored unless it involved renewing the lease or finding reasons to charge more. In the end, I lived there for less than seven months but was billed for roughly an extra month and a half of rent (from 2/16/2026 through 3/31/2026), including charges from 3/9 to 3/31 that were well beyond the 30‑day notice period. Overall, the apartments themselves are fine, but the management’s honesty, communication, and consistency need improvement. If the original promises had been kept, I would be willing to revise my review.

Bambi works tirelessly to keep tenants, vendors, staff, and owners happy. As a business owner myself that Bambi and the Lux has hired for the services my business offers, she is doing a phenomenal job at navigating the stresses that come with doing so much. I have never known a manager to do maintenance work, house keeping, and grounds work on top of property management and leasing management while trying to maintain an affordable, safe, and fair housing for all tenants. As to anybody who takes the time to write a one star review about the management or the work being done here at the Lux off Riverwalk has bigger issues to confront within themselves than to ever think they have the insight or competence to comprehend what is done behind the curtain for them to live as affordable and comfortably as they do. Gratefulness and grace goes further than dishonesty and bitterness.

The experience I had at the Lux apartments complex was awesome. Bambi did a extremely good job of explaining everything to me and with patient with me. One of the best leasing agents I've ever come across. Thanks Bambi for everything.

Bambi is absolutely amazing! From the very first tour, she was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the property. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free, always going above and beyond to answer questions and make sure everything was perfect. You can tell she truly cares about the residents and takes pride in the community. The Lux off Riverwalk is beautiful, but Bambi’s outstanding service makes it even better—I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
