The moving in process has been so smooth and the staff are very welcoming, kind and honest. The security guard named Dennis toured us around the whole complex on our day of moving in. He was very funny and made us feel safe about our decision to live here. We’re super excited, thank you Dennis, Elise, Charlene, and all the leasing staff.

The best part of this complex is the staff! The cleaning lady that works in 1231 building is absolutely amazing! Love her so much, always friendly and goes above and beyond in her work! The only thing I do not like is the walls for the apartment, they are powder which scuff super easily so it always looks like my walls have damage. Rent for a studio apartment is absolutely insane and to also pay for laundry is criminal, it should be included. The amenities are convenient and nice to use when everything works. The building doesn’t feel stable at times, you can feel your apartment shake when a door slams or your windows shake when someone plays loud music outside. Parking is awful, parking spaces are way too close. Everyone can park perfectly in the lines and you can still barely open your door. Visitor parking is nearly nonexistent. The directory for the door should be updated for current residents contact so people can contact them for access to building.

My time with Moanalua Hillside Apartments have been good for the past 2 yrs. My move-in and move-out process was seamless and straightforward . The amenities and surrounding areas are well kept. If any issues that come up, requests can be made in the portal website and the issue gets fixed. If not completely, then additional requests are easily made and they do try to accomodate you with scheduling and privacy. The leasing office and security throughout my time here have always been helpful and understanding with various issues and questions that popup now and then. The only cons I have found so far was the parking and guests which makes sense with space being premium. Thankfully, they now have a dedicated parking spot for your car. However, good luck if you decide to have an additional car. It's also difficult to have guests overnight, parkingwise. The surrounding area does not have many unreserved parking spot.

The maintenance team is super helpful, although I wasted their time two times. I asked about a drawer issue that was not an issue lol and they were always very quick to help. They also helped me find my mailbox when I told them my key didn’t work when I just went to the wrong box. Very good customer service. Friendly and efficient.

5 STARS to Kuya Melchor & Freddy! Our freezer fan would tend to freeze and air won't circulate properly down to the fridge. The first time we put on service another maintenance came by and fixed it temporarily then proceed to tell us if it happens again, we should just defrost it like he did. This trend continue for MONTHS till we put on another service where Kuya Melchor & Freddy came by, fixed the problem by REPLACING IT! As for the apartment 3 STARS 1. PARKING: you are only assigned one parking spot and most of the time, this parking spot will be FAR from your building unless you're in the new building (studio). Visitor parking are not available either so if you like having people over, good luck having to find street parking (which are usually full). 2. Utility: This is shared across everyone living in the building so, if you wonder why is it high even though you do not use electricity or water as much - This is the reason 3. DOG POOP: people tend to not pick up their dog poop on the grass and even sidewalk 4. Laundry: for the building i am living in, there is a shared coin laundry room at the end - 1 WASHER 1 DRYER. If it is taken, then you gotta go to another floor to do so All in all, the place works~ The people are friendly, you may even get free furniture, lots of doggos to be friend with and it is situated in the middle where the highway is just out there~
