Location, Location, Location. I spent two delightful years living at The Strand. The location, the apartments, and the amenities can not be beat. I relocated to NOLA from California for work, I did most of my research online and then made a quick pre-move visit to pick an apartment and sign a lease. I quickly settled on The Strand over several CBD and warehouse district apartments, and am glad I did. As someone new to NOLA, the location is perfect! Everything you could want is either in the building or just a short walk away. It is a gritty dirty city, but I never felt unsafe walking around. Having a hotel in the building makes entertaining out-of-town guests a breeze. During Mardi Gras season you are steps away from the parades, but don't get locked in by street closures. The convenience of parking your car inside and taking just one elevator ride to your apartment is invaluable in this city that is hot and wet. Speaking of climate, the units are well insulated with new dual pane windows that keep the heat, moisture, and sounds out, and the central AC is very efficient. The rooftop pool deck and gym are very convenient. The gym is well equipped, well cooled, and never crowded. I use the gym four times a week and was alone 70% of the time. The maintenance and office staff are always very friendly and quick to remedy problems. Only three gripes about The Strand and they are minor: The kitchen sinks do not have garbage disposals, they don't ever wash the outside of the windows, regular residents pay higher rents to subsidized low-income residents who behave badly.

My husband and I had the pleasure of living at The Strand for over a year, and we truly loved our experience. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from restaurants, grocery stores, and some great happy hour spots. It’s the perfect walkable neighborhood. What really sets The Strand apart is the exceptional building management. A big shoutout to Robert, Judianne, and the entire maintenance team (including the other Robert and the kind gentleman whose name I regret forgetting). They were always attentive, professional, and incredibly responsive to any requests or emails we sent. We’ve rented in several places, and this was by far the best-managed property we’ve encountered. If you’re considering renting here, don’t hesitate—The Strand is a fantastic place to call home.

My wife and I lived at the Strand for 2 years. HIGHLY recommend this apartment. The views and the apartment are stunning with great finishes. The front office staff and maintenance crew are amazing and highly attentive. They go so far out of their way to accommodate their residents. Not a single complaint for this amazing apartment building!

I love living here! My unit is extremely spacious, the amenities are like no other and the views are simply amazing. Location is everything, it's convenient to the French Quarter and just a short streetcar ride away from the garden district and everything NOLA. It's great having the Aloft hotel just downstairs with the W XYZ bar and there is nothing like the rooftop pool and fitness center which are complimented with breathtaking views of the entire city and the Mississippi River.

Luxury apartment complex that won’t even take its own tenants’ Amazon packages at their leasing office. If you’re this wealthy, you should have a doorman to handle this. Most buildings your size do. Don’t make Amazon contractors get parking tickets over your deliveries, because you don’t want packages in your fancy lobby. Leasing office staff should definitely stop talking to future tenants about Amazon workers like they’re not even there while you’re greeting those future tenants in the leasing office. It’s condescending and rude. Future tenants, consider how your building management treats the workers who service your building, because it’s a reflection on their attitude on everything. If Strand management can’t make an everyday occurrence like a package delivery an easier process that doesn’t require strangers who don’t live in your building to ride 20+ floors to leave packages in your hallways for your neighbors to steal, if Strand management can’t treat those delivery workers with basic consideration that they’re low wage workers who might lose half their pay that day for a parking ticket, just so that their leasing office job will be easier? Imagine how terribly Strand management will treat you as a tenant once you lease or buy a home from them, and inconvenience them in even a minor way. Beware
