Giselle Anguizola 6 months agoNia Scott was especially wonderful. Her knowledge, approachable nature, kindness, and follow through were exceptional. The whole Julia St. Apartment team is phenomenal, absolutely superb experience working with everyone.
Latorsha Sample 6 months agoIf I was to write this review 3 weeks ago. There wouldn't be a star to give. Dealing with the manger Brittani was such a roller-coaster. Not responding to emails in a timely manner or handing off the calls to others when I called for updates. I tried to plan as much as I could before my move across country from Virginia Beach all the way here to New Orleans. At some point it got so bad after sending an email asking about the moving in process. I received an email saying thats on a need to know basics, as if I haven't been trying to pay my security deposit for the past week at that time. Yet, the system was broken on my account to do so. I needed this information because I needed to plan my arrival and coordinate with my bosses who paid for my things to be moved down. Regardless, when I received that message I was in the mix of a four day road trip with my bosses, their two kids under two, and two dogs. When that email came through, my boss felt my energy shift. She asked, "what was wrong?" I said I don't know if I should move here. It was disheartening, because I spent so much time researching this apartment and area. I also already fell in love with the place from a distance. My bose asked why I felt that way. I said, "I think I'm not going to like the manger of the building she's not very welcoming." Luckily, there was a shift when I arrived and it really became a whole 180 experience. The office staff here is amazing between Nia and the contraries Cynthia these two woman are incredible. Upon arriving in New Orleans at The Julia at Saint Charles, Nia has been there with me every step of the way. Her professionalism, knowledge, and ability to quickly answer any questions or concerns was greatly appreciated. She really reinsured me and helped with my fears and anxiety of moving to a whole new state were I don't know anyone or how city living goes. In the short time I have been here, she already gone over and above me making sure I have the tool to have a successful living experience in this beautiful apartment complex. Let me not forget Ms. Cynthia. I can already tell she is the mother and the heart of this place. She is so quick to help and make your life easier that it took me off guard. One night I walked in looking absolutely exhausted. I received some package that evening she reminded me of, and she went to pick them up. I remember they were very heavy things and tried to stop her, but she wasn't having it. She waved me away, said I looked exhausted and proceeded to load everything on a cart for me. It was such a kindness! Another beautiful incident i got to witness of Ms. Cynthia. There was this male resident leaving the building as I was arriving. A few hours passed and I had to run down to the first floor for a package. The same male was just returning with his daughter. The little girl went to the elevator but her dad pull her away and told her I want you to meet Ms. Cynthia. The little girl was sweet as she came over to hold her hand and say hey. This exchange showed me so much about the community here and the connections the stuff make with the residents. It's beautiful. For a wrap up of my review. I have a strong feeling I'm going to love it. The residents are also so kind, helpful, and welcoming. A handful of them has already given me there unit number just incase I need something, or want to watch the parade from their balconies. If you thinking about moving here, the community will welcome you with open arms.
Constanza Pardo 5 months agoWe had a wonderful experience with Nia. She went above and beyond to show us the building , taking the time to explain every detail and answer our millions of questions with patience. The lease process was clearly explained and handled smoothly, which made everything stress free for me which was much needed since I will be moving across states. Thank you so much Nia for your patience, you're the best! Cant wait for my move to The Julia!
Mike Prevost 8 months agoI've lived here for almost 18 months and so far that's a great place to live. The location cant be beat. This is probably the best location in the city. All of the best restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, and bars are within a couple of blocks from here. There's a grocery store, one and a half blocks away.. It's an easy walk to the French quarter or the garden district. It's a safe and clean area. The apartments are very quiet. I never hear anything from nextdoor neighbors at all. The soundproofing is excellent. They have a well-equipped gym that I use frequently. They only negative is the carpet in the hallways needs to be cleaned. I am renewing my lease and plan to live here for a long time. Update... The hallway carpets were steam cleaned this week. All good
Emily F 11 months agoI don’t usually write reviews, but after seeing a few that don’t reflect my experience, I wanted to share. I’ve been at The Julia for a couple of months and have had a great experience so far. The building is clean, modern, and in a great location. All the staff I’ve interacted with (especially Tia, Lauren, and Patrice) have been incredibly professional, caring, and kind. Parking does cost extra, but that’s standard for this neighborhood. I feel safe here, and the amenities are amazing and well maintained. Really happy I chose to live here!
